JESUS IS CONDEMNED

Jesus is handed over to Pilate who, because he doesn't want to be unpopular with the crowd, orders Jesus to be crucified.
There is a new style of story telling these days.

Children's books and TV games allow us to have alternative endings. We can choose. When we read the Passion story I think most of us have this overwhelming wish that we could change the ending. This is the point where Pilate could have altered this story. If only he had acted differently! If only Jesus had spoken up for himself a little more! But … nothing was going to alter the course on which Jesus had set himself. If anything … He provoked his own crucifixion because
this is what God willed. May nothing deter us from the course on which we have committed ourselves … May we not be ashamed to follow His Way.
