Each stage has five sections so the course can run continuously for those preparing for Confirmation and First Communion
or the stages can be used separately for particular catechetical needs in a parish.
Each section has teaching material for three age groups - children, teenagers and adults.
All the material has been tried and tested in parishes up and down the country and is practically based including suggestions
for prayer, and where relevant, art and craft work.
There are booklets for the candidates in the corresponding age groups, and also liturgical material so that the preparation
for initiation can be marked out during the church year.
